So it has come to this?

I just received an e-mail with a copy of a print ad being run by the Dems.
The ad pictures a child running on a track with the face of George Bush superimposed on the childs face.
The caption reads...
'Voting for George Bush is like running in the Special Olympics...even if you win, you're still retarded.'.

I am about as angry as I have ever been in my life. Just who in the hell do these 'people' think they are.
And to John Kerry, 'At long last, Senator, have you no shame?' I assure you all that there is a special place in Hell for the people who did this.

BTT...

C'mon all you Bush Bashers! Where the hell are y'all now with your lies, distortions and snotty comments??? Over 70 views of this POS and not a one of you has the stones to post a reply. Gutless wonders, explain this away!

One can only infer from your silence that you agree with the message of the ad and all that comes with it.
You folks make me wanna puke!

Thanks to Blues for posting the POS in question.

I have to wonder if this is for real. C'mon, they're stupid, but are they THAT stupid?

I'd be very surprised to find this were run by the Kerry campaign or any official Dem committee.

Not that they won't have a good laugh about it behind closed doors, of course.

Well, what will Kerry say about this? Will he come out publicly and denounce this ad and those who ran it?

Don't hold your breath. Still waiting for him to do that about the violence that is being committed against Bush supporters.

I'm one of the "70 views". I would have posted yesterday, but I'm afraid that I might have blown a gasket if I did.

Making fun of mentally retarded people is about as low as one can get. The occasional outburst (in jest or anger) of "Are you retarded???" I can forgive. I sometimes regress to 5th grade mentality myself (some would argue more often than not, but I digress) but purposefully sitting down and exploiting the photo of a Special Olympics child is beneath contempt. Not that liberals weren't already beneath my contempt.

You guys will probably love this little gem too. Enjoy! :barf:

I just wanted to add that this Flash movie is a small part of what is being called "Operation Bubbe". For the uninitiated Bubbe is a yiddish term of endearment for grandmother. I heard about this on the Michael Medved show yesterday. Being a jewish conservative he was appalled.

Apparently the version available now is somewhat different. The version he described had "Bubbe" weilding a huge knife ala the death-cult psychotics in the middle-east. Now the severing of Cheney's head, the slashing of the furniture, etc. seem to be done sans knife. The site was down for at least 2 hours last night as I kept trying to access it to post it here. Perhaps Mr. Medved's criticism caused them to edit the movie. In any case it still makes me want to :barf: .

Disgusted!!!

I cannot find the words (that can be posted) to explain my feelings on this. As a Special Olympics volunteer and past coach this type of "expression" also makes me sick.

I suppose that the elected President will surround himself with the "best and the brightest". If this is any indication of the caliber of intelligence, we are in grave danger if Kerry is elected.

Its a photoshop of an image that has been on the internet for quite a while.

Originals

I'm surprised you haven't come across it before.

Its among the most common cliches used for photoshops.

With all due respect, I don't care how it was created.
The fact that it WAS created, circulated and used to make a political statement disgusts me. What kind of morally empty shell of a human being would do this?

Over 90 views and counting and not ONE Bush Hater has come foreward to rationalize or repudiate this garbage. I guess that it's too comfy under the fridge with the rest of the cockroaches.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if it's a big sham propogated by the GOP folks - masquerading as a "pro-Kerry" ad. Supposedly it's from a Dem's campaign, but let's see the proof.

Thats disturbing.... I am a professional Graphic Designer, and that disgusts me. I have made my share of funny pictures and such, but thats really bad. I hope whoever made this picture gets whats comign to them after Bush beats the living crap out of Kerry. (i hope)

 Gee, ya can't argue with that logic!

Over 200 views and counting. Not one of you Bush haters has the spine to comment. Shame on you all! We're ALL waiting to hear what you have to say.

Right its karl rove sittin back there crankin out fake documents and other goodies to make the ethicly pure liberals look bad!

Let me just say that I would be willing to bet that most Bush-haters do not find this appropriate, either.

I also do not think this would be put out by anyone directly affiliated by either party. Most likely some guy or group with a special hating of Bush.

That may be true and thank you for the reply. The sad fact is, though, that they came out of the weeds to support Michael Moore, they came out of the weeds to support the falsified documents that Dan Rather had, they came out of the weeds to defend Sandy Berger and they came out of the weeds to tout John Kerry as a war hero and patriot. The are not, in my experience, a silent bunch. Now we have this and their silence is deafening. I just wanna know...Is this what they stand for? Do they actually support going this far over the line? Is their pathetic struggle for legitimacy so morally bankrupt that they would justify this? Have they no shame, no moral foundation?

Multiple hundreds of views and still no one speaks up.

That needs to be brought to the attention of the National Special Olympics.

I sincerely doubt that the organization has given permission to use its name.

"Wouldn't surprise me at all if it's a big sham propogated by the GOP folks..."

Why does that seem to be, by far, the most common refrain from the Democrats/their supporters when anything like this is brought up?

During the Bush memo saga it took about 10 seconds for the Democratic tenor to go from one of absolute joy to one of "Rove set us up! It's his fault!"

And obviously that New Jersey Democratic flash movie was put up there by Karl Rove, again just to make the Democrats look bad, because as we all know, Democrats NEVER resort to dirty tricks, likes, errors of omission, etc. They ALWAYS tell the truth, and we can trust them.

If that's all the better that the Dems/their supporters can do, it's a very sad commentary.

Digusting! Reprehensible! Ya gotta be one sick f**k to even think of such a thing. But in the world of the Demo Dufus nothing is sacred. After all can't mix church and state (unless it's a rally for Kerry with Jesse and Al attending).
