Shane- My son is LEO so I got an illuminated mildot reticle at his request. To be honest, I would have preferred a Duplex Reticle. I do like the illuminated reticle. The Leupold Mark 4 is very good. No complaints.

I underestimated the magnitude of responses and quality of information I would receive. I should have known from being a proud Staff member here it should have been a given.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'm going to chew on this a bit more and I'll post when I make my decision. If anyone has more to add, by all means...
