Is that a 340 pd? I saw one at a gunshow and wanted to buy it. As far as I know, they come with the fiber optic front sight.
It's the 340pd Hi-Viz. A standard factory option. I think the ramp on the normal 340pd is pinned, though, so you would not have to do any milling to replace it if you wanted to.
It is a very good sight for the gun. Not as precise as a real sharp square post, but quick to pick up and perfectly capable of the range of practical accuracy anticipated out of a <2" barrel.

I see that you finally picked up that "Beautiful" M31-1!
By the way, did you fill-in all of that "Gold" looking, lettering(It looks nice on all of your guns!)? After seeing your picture, I'm strongly thinking that I might like to keep the lettering like you have done, on my Colt Python(As it already has this look!)? Your guns look so good(With the lettering)that my opinion has just been changed from a "Negative" view to a very "Positive" view!
