Well an affordable snub is going to sell more then an affordable mouse gun semi auto.
main issue is that a jframe cleans the same as a model 29. The tiny little pocket autos are really really hard to clean well. SOME ive seen need two people just to put the slide/barrel assembly back on.
if you cant clean it, you dont use it.

I trust my life to a S&W model 60 on a daily basis and I place a high value on my life and could carry anything I want.

These below are my two snubs (well two of my many snubs anyway..)
The 640 .38 on the left is my first CCW gun when CHL started here in Texas (I have a very low serial number!) It uses Cor-Bon 158gr LSWHPs (as seen in the photo) and loves them. Yes I also added the red insert front sight, Eagle Secret Service stocks, and did my own action job. Shoots dead on.
The one on the right, the .357, is the one I carry in the summer here in Texas. DPX 125 .357s in it. And yes I retro-fitted the flash chrome trigger, VZ stocks, and slickened up the insides. I also have it shooting dead on at 15 yards.
They are totally reliable. And with top ammo I just don't see how they could malfunction. Trust my life with them? I do it all the time.
