I don't know who won in 1988 (Every 4 years I think), but Dutch sounds wrong to me. That is one of the most raggedy assed Army I have ever seen. The whole army looks as if they were outfitted from an Army/Navy surplus store. Last I remember they had a union.

In '89 the Dutch, also known as Netherlands won with a Leopard 2 tank.

If you find out what Army/Navy store their Union rep bought that tank at, let me know.

I bet we paid for them. I think they were still on gas powered 48's when I was over there.

That sounds about right ..... IIRC, I read about it in the S&S during my first tour (Oct 87-Sept 89) .....
