Very nice. You gotta love a pretty, blued revolver. I just don't like taking care of them (the finish, I mean)....anymore. So, it's the 64 for me. I do miss my model 10's, though......

Congratulations on all the new firearms!!!

Wow!
I love my model 64 and I just drooled on my key board over those model 10 pics. Very nice find! I love that model 10!

Let us know how they shoot :D

HERE ya go!!
My Son giving her a go.

As for the review: Think how you would expect a model ten to behave.
Ok, yea this one does. Not one complaint. I think I got lucky to run into it.
Also lucky the rest of the market is on a pistol craze. Boy are they missing out on some good shooting.

I have to almost giggle, every time I go to the range. I usually will get a shooting lane (not by choice, mind you) beside someone with the latest gee-whiz super shoot-em-up plastic wondergun - which the individual(s) involved barely know how to load, let alone shoot. They spray bullets all over the place.....some of which actually hit the target (though I am NOT convinced that that is intentional, going by the way they shoot). I'll just stand in my lane and make a 2" or so ragged hole in my target, through which I put almost every round.....with one of my model 64 K-frames. Easy peasy, no fuss.

Meanwhile in the next lane, he/she/they are dealing with laserrs (attached to the rail on the gun) which won't work, turn off every time they fire, or aren't zeroed (so they do NO good whatever).....jams from low-quality ammo....stovepipes and double-feeds from limp wristing, etc. etc. etc.

I just giggle to myself. Yep, wonderguns. Operated by idiots.

I am just an old fogey with a revolver. Except, it WORKS....and I HIT what I aim for. :D

Went and picked up my Model 64 today. My smith looked at it and gave it a clean bill of health. He commented that this one may have the best trigger he has tried on a K frame.

I would have to agree, pretty smooth. But my experience level is not all that high.

I will get a chance to put some rounds down it tomorrow.

Now I just need to put in some OT and hide from the wife :-)

I put a few rounds through the Model 64 today. Trigger is as nice as I expected.
Very smooth double action. No problem staying inside a couple inches at 10 yards.
The only problem I have now.... I ran out of 38 special range ammo.
Back to the basement I guess. Good thing I cast about 2000 bullets a couple weeks ago.

This one is actually going to have a job. Its in a holster next to the bed in the spare/ Computer room, with a couple of speed loaders handy.
