Anyone have a date on a S&W, Model 29 N310XXX thanks ahead of time
2000/01.Any info on a S&W Mod 64-6, serial number CER57XX
SN 40XX would be a first year production (1899) .38 Military & Police 1st Model. Its a S&W .38 special, six-shot with 5 inch barrel. It has fluted cylinder, fixed sights, and checkered walnut grips. I believe its a M&P. Serial number is 4-digits starting with 40xx. Mine is identical to this one (see attached photo) except mine has 5" barrel, this appears to be 6". Mine also has a smaller/shorter hammer. I would really appreciate it if someone could let me know what model it is, what year it is, and if possible what it may be worth.
Model 25's are 45 caliber. Your serial number dates it to 1960 and is likely a model 14 or 15.S&W Model 25 in 38 Spcl. SN K3994XX
~1975.S&W, Model 29 N310XXX
1961.Smith & Wesson Model 10 (Stamped on frame behind cylinder hinge)
4 inch
serial C485123
Box says 38 Military & Police
Nickel 4 inch Square
Serial number dates it to 1967.It's a .38 special, 4 in. tapered barrel, adjustable rear sight. Stock looking wood grip and is if very good condition.
SN. K724***
Under the cylinder hindge reads the following..R724*** MOD. 16-2
I'd like to know the year, any interesting info (I can find a model 16 .32, but not a .38) and if +P ammunition will be safe with this revolver.
Model of 1905, .38 Military & Police, 4th variation, serial 5194XX. Year of issue?
