I've have had a 3" since 1982 and I wouldn't part with it. Carried daily for 20 yrs. Smoot,. accurate, and dependable. You may want to look close for a bulged cylinder hole or a crack in the forcing cone. You will love that gun. Best, Lyle

Hi,
Great price and I would say buy it. Best all around 357 revolver ever made. I have three and love them.

Great price on the -1, as they said in an earlier post, it is the last of the pinned barrel, and recessed cylinders. You don't see a lot of them around.

As of 20 minutes ago, I bought a 66-1, 2 1/2" on gunbroker. It looks amazing in the the photos. Hope it's as good when I get it. Paid $650.

Stainless 357 mag S&W 66-2 6" Barrel in the Box. Help With Value?

I have this Model 66-2 6" Barrel S&W in the box with holster and quick loaders. I am trying to establish some type of value here. It has been shot a total of 10 times in it's life and is in near mint condition. I want to see what a value would be b/c I am going to selling it and I don't want to be taken advantage of.

I have a 66-1 in a 2 incher. Owned by a Seattle police officer. It was not un-common for them to carry these in a 4 or 6 in holster especially on bikes, to save weight. The police officer is my dad. Most of them did this.

I have a 66 (not sure what dash) it's awesome. Yes, mine is a 3". It is worth a min of 100 bux over the other barrel lengths. It is so smooth........

Nice thing about the stainless M66 is the finish can be easily restored by hand. This revolver had been carried a lot and fired very little. Tight with a like new bore and lock, it suffered from surface imperfection. I gave $300 for it, added a set of grips and some time and it looks better.
