Smith And Wesson Agreement

I, too, own a S&W revolver, and am very happy with it. I will not buy another S&W made product. This has nothing to do with my post, but felt the need to include the above statement :).

A friend of mine got a complete copy of 'the agreement' and was taking it around to a couple of his dealer buddies. Just like Max who had only seen a watered down version, a lot of the dealers that my friend talked to did not know all the aspects of the agreement. All of them were angry that S&W hadn't been up front with them.

Reading what Don Gwinn posted, any business person would be insane to sign a document that open ended. It makes statements that are based on technology not yet invented and can be left to many different interpretations as to eventual approval of the same.
As president of a large company, I would not give that agreement the time of day. I would definitely think that anyone who would sign such a entially restrictive agreement for their business would HAVE TO HAVE other promises in place to even give it a second thought. I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS STRONGLY ENOUGH! It definitely smells of something underhanded, no doubt about it!
I will not be supporting this cause, I can ure you.

I will not buy another Smith and Wesson product. They are just the latest to join my list of "never again" gun manufacturers.

The first was Ruger after I read an article by the late great Skeeter Skelton outlining the magazine ban that Ruger was trying to sell to congress.

The second was Colt after their execs said they didn't believe in citizens owning handguns and of course we have them to thank for this "smart gun" bull**** that is getting worse by the day.

Now S&W has added themselves to the list. I think they sat on a grenade when they signed the articles of surrender with herr Klinton.

Fewer and fewer American gun companies are left on my "good" list.
