Then again, as "johnwill" says, you can get a Curio & Relic collector's license from BATF for $30 that's good for three years and "roll your own." I'm looking into that.
My Systema drew blood from me too after shooting a magazine through it.I continue to shoot it but I finally got around to ordering a commander hammer and new beavertail from Brownells.I bought mine with my C&R and it couldn't have been any easier.
