Single Action Concealment Holster Help

I didn't say unsafe, I said inappropriate.

Every reputable firearms training program teaches that one of the primary safety rules is to never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to fire the gun. That applies to every gun regardless of configuration, because it's a matter of discipline. If you make a habit of it with an uncocked single action revolver, you'll do it with a double action revolver or with a cocked single action revolver.

And yes, I'll admit to being anal about firearms safety.

Cabela's has a pretty good variety of stuff to choose from, at very reasonable prices)

When it comes to leather you generally get what you pay for. A lot if not most of Cabela's leather is Oklahoma Leather which is chrome tanned and won't hold up for hard use. It gets limp and floppy. Is alright for now and then.

I've made a couple of concealment holsters for single actions. These are both for SAAs.

me either i now live in a right to carry state even though i have a maryland ccw that is valid here i dont conceal, only carried when i went into the city (bodymore, i mean baltimore) i never liked concealed carry for two reasons, 1 you always have to wear a jacket or have your shirt untucked and 2, i cant take the heat in the summer and it always bothered my waist to have a gun wedged between it and my jeans unless i had my shirt tucked in (refer back to reason #1) and in md you can only concealed carry with a permit, there is no law allowing open carry... if you are permitted ccw you must conceal.... stupid huh? but maine is open carry no permit and cc with permit.

+1 good buddy

I've had a CC permit for years and I've never CC-ed. I swear I'm gonna feel stupid the day I need that firearm but don't have it.
