He folks, I know some of you carry a single action revolver as personal protection. I am trying to find a good concealment holster to carry my new Uberti Cattleman. I am trying to find a black pancake holster. Leather or nylon, it doesn't matter to me.

How do you carry yours and where can I get a good concealment holster?

I carry my old Ruger 45 Colt Blackhawk in this. You can wear it cross draw
or on your right side.

I saw a pancake holster in El Paso Saddlery I like. Good price and what I think I want. Thanks for the help guys.

ok i got this at a show in virginia, it cost me 60 bucks, the holes are from where i ahd threaded hemp rope through it to make an iver johnson fit in it. the square stitching you see is where your cell phone holster clip goes and then you clip the gun holster and cell phone to your waist band and drop the gun inside your pants, i prefer on my left by the pocket. this is no b.s. this thing will make a hi point .45 print back like its your wallet in there and you cannot see the gun at all even if you arent wearing a shirt! to draw the gun what i do is but my right thumb against my gut and pull the cell phone up with my left hand which puts the grip right in my right hand. then draw the pistol the rest of the way, with some practice this is very easy and efficient. think about it if you are getting robbed arent they going to want your cell phone? now look what happens when you give it to them...lol... if i can ever find my cell case i'll post a demonstration

you should have seen me with the bison in there, actually it is a little more difficult with the 12" barrel, but you still can barely tell its there besides how often do you walk around staring at a man's crotch? i would hope someone can tell us who makes these, i lost the guys card. this is the best ccw holster i have ever seen, if i can hide an 8" barreled 1858 remmy with it you should see what a colt 1911 looks like...or something smaller...

I have a shoulder rig, a side holster and a holster that has mounting screws, all for the Remmy. I'd love to have a double shoulder rig for both of mine so carrying both would be easier. I usually just wear the shoulder rig and take turns with the Remmies.I'm strapped about all of the time....I really have no reason to conceal.

me either i now live in a right to carry state even though i have a maryland ccw that is valid here i dont conceal, only carried when i went into the city (bodymore, i mean baltimore) i never liked concealed carry for two reasons, 1 you always have to wear a jacket or have your shirt untucked and 2, i cant take the heat in the summer and it always bothered my waist to have a gun wedged between it and my jeans unless i had my shirt tucked in (refer back to reason #1) and in md you can only concealed carry with a permit, there is no law allowing open carry... if you are permitted ccw you must conceal.... stupid huh? but maine is open carry no permit and cc with permit.

Bravo suzukibruce!
Your 1858 revolver is sure being carried well concealed using that rig.
But is it still possible to comfortably sit down while wearing it?
Personally I would probably opt to use a "fanny pack" type of carry holster. :)
