Sig P320 great Service

Sig is doing great job on voluntary recall fix of P320 trigger issue.
Mine back in total of 7 days . Outstanding customer focus by Sig up there
In Exeter NH with emails to advise when the handgun was finished and shipped.

Awesome to hear. The P320, or M17, will be the greatest combat sidearm in human history. Tremendously superior to the antique Beretta design, the gun will be a legend.

Sig received my wife's P320 on 10/18. According to FedEx tracking, it will be back in her hands 10/31. That's pretty decent service considering how many they've had to process.

Could you imagine Colt trying to deal with a recall like this? The return labels alone wouldn't be out to the customers for another six weeks.....

Good to know. I waited till last week to sign mine up. I wanted to hear how the upgraded pistols performed before I made a commitment.

They are not turning them around that quick for everyone. But it gave me a chance to buy a M&P 2.0 compact.Bad move Sig.When I get the 320 back it goes in the safe.I much prefer the M&P 2.0.

The VAST majority are returned with 6-11 days, that's out and back. if you don't get an "It's on it's way back" notice within 10 days, I'd call Sig CS and find out what the hold up is.

Mine was shipped 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Have heard nothing from SIG.

Others have reported that SIG received their pistols over 2 weeks ago, and have heard nothing.

Hi all,
My P320 Compact RX was delivered to Sig Sauer at 10:30 this morning.
Now I'll see what the turnaround is.
I'm hoping that I'll have it back by Saturday the 17th when I leave for Thanksgiving week.
It's my M&P Shield 9 till then!

As usual Sig is inconsistent with no answers. They cannot tell you where you are in the que. They cannot tell you what criteria they are using to determine the order in which they are serviced. Mine has been there since the 18th and I am still hearing NH crickets........

I registered my P320sc the first week and still haven't received a shipping label yet. Have made 2 calls to Sig and all they can tell me is to be patient.

I'm in the same shoes as WVSig, mine has been there with the 19th.

I can't wait to get it back so I can sell it. I've put it off to get the VUP done so any buyers can't waffle on that.

I talked with Sig today. My gun has shipped. The rep I talked to really could not shed any light on how the guns are being prioritized but we both think that timing is somewhat related to caliber.

Mine is a full sized 45 ACP and I both agreed that the size and the slide mass might require more "work" than the 9 & 40.

All said and done it should be about 20 days door to door so not horrible and certainly better than 4-6 weeks.

Interesting that caliber is a factor. Could there be a parts difference with the fix as well and they simply stocked more 9mm parts? I know the slides differ in mass but with modern milling equipment that should be a matter of seconds, not days.

I haven't sent mine back yet despite having my label. I have to bring it to a FedEx distribution center and that's farther away from me than the factory itself. It's mildly ridiculous.

The P320 I shipped off to SIG 15 days ago (and counting) was also a full-size chambered in .45 ACP. So far, I have heard nothing but I have not called SIG CS. I am going on a trip next week and if I don't hear anything by the time I get back, I will call them.

I just got this email from Sig Sauer

***** Please do not reply to this automatic message ******

Sig Sauer Inc. is pleased to inform you that the following shipment left the factory today and will arrive at your place soon.

We appreciate your business.

The attached Shipping Notification contains the details of your shipment.

I will have my P320 Compact RX (9mm) back on Thursday the 9th. by 8 pm (though FedEx delivery's at my home is around 2 pm)
So for my timeline it's:
P320 Received at Sig on November 2nd. and I will have it back on November 9th. 7 Days!

It looks like Sig is still cranking them out door to door in 7 days! (in my case that 7 days included a weekend)
So it's feasible to think that if Sig got your 320 on Monday you would have it back by Friday.
I did see on other forums that the P320 / 45 Caliber is taking longer due to some extra milling.

I'm a happy camper..It'l be great to have my 320 back, I missed it!
Not to mention it shoots SOOO much better than my M&P Shield 9.
Don't get me wrong I like my Shield and I would NOT give it up but the 320 just feels better in my hand,
I feel that I shoot it better and I really like the Red Dot!
Just an FYI...
