Sig P238

Are people carry the Sig 238 cocked and locked in the pocket?
Since it lacks a grip safety, no fear of the safety slipping to off with a single action cocked in the pocket?

This people does. I use a good holster, as mentioned, and it covers both trigger and safety. The safety clicks on and off quite decisively. It gives me no cause for worry.

How else can the pistol be carried than cocked and locked? I us a IWB kydex holster for most all of my CC pistols, the holster shrouds the hammer on the Sig and the safety lever fits into its own recess. Although I have never worried about the safety being inadvertently wiped off because of its positive engagement but still I never drop a cocked and locked pistol into a pants pocket without an appropriate holster.

Good deal!!!

I could have bought a new "Rainbow" Sig P238 for $418 from a guy who was shutting down his gun business and kick myself that I passed on it. This is a $600 gun anyway you look at it. That is a great price.

Life is good.
