Sig P229 shooting low

So I just read through my posts and realized I spoke in error, probably rushing to post before work.

I replaced my rear sight with a new #8, the old night sights were dim. I replaced the front sight with a bright new #6. I most certainly did NOT place a #6 rear sight on like I said I did. I apologize for the confusion there.

great!

As noted previously, you are running the correct sights. If the white dot was critical to you perceiving the sights, and same was dull, stained etc, you may have been visually raising the front sight high (out of the rear notch) in your sight picture, in essence creating a visually taller front sight. Result, shots low on target.

Glad your back on again.
