It may be wise to check the re-set of your trigger bar after the slide is done disconnecting it from the sear. Slide goes back, pushes trigger bar down--sear is now free to go forward and catch the hammer--a basic "disconnector" function.
If bad fit, weak spring, or fat magazine interferes with the trigger bar coming back up, even a fully-forward trigger reset position won't enable you to drop the hammer.
Had that happen (fat magazine version) on a gun which was quite similar to the SIG. Got a lotta tap-rack-nothing/tap-rack-bang drills out of that one! Usually, the rack would jar the trigger bar back up, but it once went through three cycles. Frustration!
