SIG experts.........HELP

I have medium hands and the 220 just feels good. Ergonomic. Better than the 245. My 226 feels better than my 229 but it is easier to pack. You have a 44 Mag so you should be used to recoil. You should be able to find a Police trade-in 226 for around $450. That was my first Sig. Looked rough on the outside but new inside. The one I have now looks better but doesn't shoot as well :P
 
P225!

I find the recoil of the P225 very comfortable. Its balance and weight help absorb recoil. They're the last true bargain SIG Sauers. If you shop around you can find one NIB with K-Kote and Trijicons for under $500.
