SIG 220 OPINIONS? HOW MUCH ARE THEY USED?

Contrary to opinions based earlier in this thread, my own personal experience is that the SIG's have exceptional triggers out of the box....every one of them, and I currently own 6 SIG's. I have two P220's..one I bought new for $600 last year and one I bought used last year for $600 also, but the latter was two-toned with night-sights....Good luck in your search, you won't be disappointed by the P220...Dan in GA

I bought a new two-tone P220 with three seven round magazines, case, lock and manual for 629$ + tax last year. They were going for 589$ a few years ago.

Mine has been well worth every penny!

What about SIG P220 "American" in 9mm Parabellum?

I suspect it is slightly bigger version of the SIG P225 (or the latter is a compact version of the former).

How much does one go for usually? Also, what is the grip circumference? Comparable to a 1911 or a CZ-75? Comparable to SIG P225?

What about trigger reach?

Again, I am talking about the 9mm P version.

Good buy used at $425. But a trigger job really sweetens that pup up nice.
