Sig 1911

I've owned a bunch of 1911's over the years. I got a Warrior once and it just never did it for me. I have been a Sig fan for many years, and the Warrior never gave me any trouble other than it just didn't seem as accurate as it should be for a pistol in that price range. It ended up sitting in my safe for a couple years and I traded it off for something else.

SIG had problems with their extractor on their 1911's because they use an external extractor on the 1911. They had the extractor redesigned and it now works fine.

Apparently they have chosen to ignore Kimber's fiasco.

I bought a Sig Scorpion last year. Very accurate. has been 100% reliable. All different kinds of ammo run through it, even 255 grain heavy handloads. I will agree on some holster issues being a problem. Solved mine by finally mating mine to a Blackhawk Serpa. Used my heat gun on the holster with the unloaded gun inside. Heated, cooled, repeat till gun slides out just like it was made for it. Retention is fantastic, just like a Serpa should be. Price I paid was very reasonable in my opinion. $900 brand new at my local dealer.
