sierra 140gr hpbt gameking?

I shoot 15grn BT's at 2700 fps in my 7mm08 and always get a nice exit in deer. The only times I've had small blood trails have been front on quartering shots that transversed the deer and exited where gut or soft tissue plugged the exit hole.

I've shot the HPGK as well and there has been no measurable difference in the exits. If you don't expect to track it, shoot it in the head or high shoulder. That is about the only way you'll guarantee the animal won't run. You can predict with reasonable certainty what the bullet will do between the distance of muzzle to target, once it enters the animal, there are no guarantees.

You can see the entry on this one. Quartering shot, wrecked both lungs and exited out between the back of the ribs and lower gut. He ran 150-200yds. Zero blood trail. When I put him in the Gator, the plug pulled out and there was a ton of blood.

This one is self explanatory, she didn't go anywhere but straight down. Same load as above.
