There are differences between the 75D Compact and the PCR models.

The current 75D compact has higher sights and is all steel. Past models had a safety, while it appears the current model has a decocker like the PCR. The PCR model also has a light weight frame, low mount tritium sights, a lanyard ring, and has a tactile loaded round indicator.

No experience with Hakan Pek myself, just admire his work. I believe it is a one-man shop, so it wouldn't surprise me if it might take awhile to hear back. I like his grips, but I also love the look of checkering which is why I'm leaning towards Esmerelda or the CZ brand grips myself.

I might have one or two CZ's.

I have experimented with a few grip combos on my CZs, and here's what I ended up with:

PCR - VZ frag pattern G10 grips
P-01 - Walnut 1/2 checkered grips from Marshal grips in Hungary
SP-01 - Same as the P-01 (not pictured)

• CZ 100 (customized w/Trijicon night sights by CZ Custom)
• P-07 Duty DAO (conversion by CZ Custom).

Bigmatt, that is a great collection!

Thanks, and I am missing pictures of a few too. I don't have pics of my Rami or my Scorpion Evo SBR. I also own a few other Czech made guns plus a Swiss clone.

The 75B Compact is all steel and has a safety instead of a decocker
The PCR has an alloy frame and a decocker, no safety. (75D where D stands for decocker)
The P01 is a PCR with a light rail.

My PCR has the CZ rosewood grips. I like the look.

My CZ70 has Marschal grips that cost $125 which is almost what I paid for the pistol itself. Nice grips!

Sorry no pics at the moment (if I get some time I'll fix that).

My CZ history includes buying a CZ75B over a decade ago (probably around 15 years now). One of my favorite guns, it may be the gun I'm most accurate with (even better than my revolvers and I'm so close with the CZ and a 1911 I'm not sure which I'm better with), fits my hand more naturally than any but a 1911 (tie), and, when I stopped counting rounds nearly 10 years ago I had 10K rounds through it with very few hiccups. Great gun.

Loved it so much that a year or so later I bought a CZ40B. I didn't love the .40S&W round (yet) and I needed some money, so right around the time they discontinued it I sold it to a forum member (though it may have been during the time this forum closed for a while and most of us moved over to THR). I've kicked myself for that ever since.

I recently finally bought a P01 as a carry gun (when in a state I can carry). Good gun, though I haven't been to the range enough this year so I'm still familiarizing myself with it.

I have some Hakans on my CZ 75B, and my best friend had them on his 85 Combat (until he sold all of his guns). They are great looking grips. I'm not sure if he's still making grips (and if its been a while and he hasn't got back to you, that may be the answer) since he hasn't seemed to update his website in years now. I'll probably be putting either aluminum or VZ G10 grips on my P01 to make it narrower for IWB/tucked carry (puts it around 1.2" in thickness if I recall correctly, just over 1.2 for G10, just under for aluminum), though there are quite a few nice looking wooden grips out there.

Those grey laminate grips are unavailable...anyone know of any with a similar look...been lookin hi and lo...
