I'm not going to get into the many conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11, just know that a great many people honestly believe that more happened on that day than what was broadcast by the networks or espoused by authorities. If you don't believe any of that nonsense, fine. If you're a kook like the rest of us, that's ok too.

I've never believed we "civi's" ever got all the details surrounding 9/11, and we never will. But WOW, some of the conspiracy theories bouncing around out there are wild... I've heard some that rank right up there with "JFK and Elvis are both still alive--really. They show up to my wednesday night poker games with their little alien buddy named Bob."

Both parties are guilty of treason.

If we vote for The Dems, they are anti-gun. If we keep our guns we keep this Rep mess. If we vote Independent, we keep our guns, get a true change which we need badly. The paper shredders would be going 24-7. That would also change world opinion about us, that we are doing something positive, The Leaders won't catch the backlash, the ordinary citizen will through terrorism. Like Cptn Kirk said lets make a difference, vote for true change. Will our enslaved children cuss our graves because we didn't stop it? Taking action and standing up will cost us our jobs, pensions and our lives, but our children's liberty is worth it. If we demand paper ballots and vote Independant, they can't mess with OUR vote.

When it comes to what they knew prior to September 11th, 2001, about possible terrorist attacks against the United States, do you think members of the Bush Administration are telling the truth, are mostly telling the truth but hiding something, or are they mostly lying?

Quoted from Springmom

The poll isn't about Clinton, it's about Bush, and he hasn't done anything impeachable.

Dear Springmom:

With all due respect, you state Bush has not done anything "impeachable."

As a lifelong Republican Party member (that is, at least since the age of 18 yerars) I disagree, and do so for the reasons laid out in my previous post detailing EXACTLY how he committed an very impeachable act, and it is on the second page of this thread.

That post lists some of the details regarding the "making" of a treaty by him and members of his Administration with the Countries of Mexico and Canada, styled as the "North American Partnership Agreement" previous to a single vote being cast in Congress in direct violation of Article II, Section II of the U.S. Constitution, thereby violating his oath of office to "preserve, protect, and defend" the Constitution of the United States as President.

I would think you most probably would agree, if a President violates his oath of office in a disengenuous and plotted out method to attempt to bypass the United States Constitution, such an action would inarguably be impeachable. And further that, for such an act, in addition to impeachment, any President, Republican, Democrat, or Libertarian, or Independant, should be removed by the Senate for committing such an act.

He has done so.

Read the Senate report that everyone was going ga ga over a few weeks ago - bad inteliigence? Probably. Pick and choose decisions? Probably. Purposely lied? Don't think so.

As for ALL the other points, please prove to me he broke the law on any of them. I heard/read plenty of lawyers opine about eavesdropping, so-called torture, geneva convention crap, but have yet to see ANYONE show conclusively he broke a law.

We will find out if the Dems take the Senate, but good luck trying to convince/prove anything illegal.

Besides, let Cheney run the country the next 2 years? I have no problem with that - he don't take crap from nobody.

Ok???

Since nobody can give me any useful information on the "9/11 conspiracy" I dont think it would be a good idea to impeach a president on pure speculation. Just because we didn't find weapons of mass destruction doesn't mean they weren't there before we went. Just because some burned out hippy idiots came up with some crazy 9/11 conspiracy theories doesn't mean they are true. Just because some people don't agree with the president doesn't mean he is wrong. If anyone thinks they can do a beter job in the oval office then by all means run for president. And don't even bring up New Orleans! Half the people that stayed (that were capable of leaving) only stayed to steal stuff and cause trouble. It is not Bush's fault that things went to hell in New Orleans. Nobody thought it was going to be that bad. Nobody assumed that the levees would break. Nobody knew that many idiots would stick around for the storm of the century. You see em on the news every year in florida. "The storm has never run us out of town before. We'll be ok. Were just gonna rde it on through!"

Come to think of it...

Here is a conspiracy theory for "tinfoil hat" population to chew on. It starts like this: some Afghanis that the U.S. actually supplied with weapons during their war with Russia came to hate the U.S. for various reasons. Their terrorist group sent numerous members into our country to execute a daring plot for terror. These terrorists enrolled in flight school in our own country and were trained to fly (but not land) by our own flight instructors. On 9/11, armed with only boxcutters, these terrorists hijacked four planes and crashed one into each of the world trade center towers causing them and numerous other buildings in the immediate area to collapse. One of the other two planes was crashed into the Pentagon and the last plane was taken over by the passengers on board forcing the terrorists to crash the plane into an empty field. How crazy is that.

the threat of a nuclear black-market is nearing reality, if Bush continues to not take the threat of unsecure borders seriously, I hold him as well as anyone else who fails to use the authority and responsibilty to protect this country from it's enemies....I would want such tried for treason, executed and perhaps their heads stuck on a stick...

The roofs dips inward
Explosions are visible running up on the right side
Explosions are visible in the front
_______________________________________

1. Gravity. If it was an explosion wouldn't the roof have gone UP? You know, as in BLOWN UP.
2. Don't look like explosions. The building is falling and the windows are popping out.
3. Still don't look like explosions. And the windows still look like they're popping out. Etc., etc., etc.

I guess I better turn in my tinfoil hat.

Meanwhile, I'm a firm believer in the statement, "Actually, the poll is about Clinton. Ever since Clinton was impeached, the left has had this dream to redeem Clinton by impeaching a Republican President."

Let them spin their wheels trying to redeem Clinton, it keeps them off the street.

John

P.S. -

Here I thought that making Treaties and all other Foreign Policy was the duty of the Executive Branch, not the legislative.

This is easily the dumbest thread I've seen here in a long time. It amazes me that people who hold themselves to be defenders of the constitution are so quick to bastardize it for political gain when it suits them. Like him or not, Bush hasn't done anything impeachable, at least nothing that anyone can prove. Believe you me, if there were even the slightest shread of evidence that could even support a monkey trial, those on the left would have brought it by now.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled talking heads.
