Should Medal Of Honor winners be exempt from Income taxes?

Personally I think that guys who go to the factory every day and pull double shifts three times a week, who drag themselves out of bed on Sunday to take the wife and kids to church when they'd rather be fishing, who stay with their wives when they are bitched at and complained about every day, who don't drink up all the money, and who spend time with their kids when they are dog tired deserve a tax break.

Sure it takes bravery to rush out in the face of certain death before the enemy but it takes a lot more to do what is right every day for 30 years.

My 2 cents worth.

That would change it from being an HONOR, to being a for profit adventur. It would then be issued only to those persons in power or who know someone in power.

The ability to not have to pay taxes would be so valuable that some people would pay million of dollars for it and come away smiling with savings they enjoy over their lifetime. This would reduce the MEDAL OF hONOR a business investment and have nothing to do with honor.

We owe these people a lot, but I do not think we owe them or they want us to corrupt the very honor they have received.
