Should I sell these guns?

If you have to sell your car and ride the bus to work, do so inorder to get that M-1A, before its to late, you will be sorry if you don't have one. They are the finest battle rifle in existance and it was made here and not in Europe, like the heavy clunky FAL. If you like the Taurus pistol, keep it and sell the car instead.

Frontsight:

I agonized over the same issue a number of times and came to a conclusion finally.

I had nice shiny pistols like a Beretta 92FS Centurion and a SIG P229 that I liked looking at, but did not use much (ever since I acquired a CZ-75B and a H&K USP40C). Now, mind you, I am NOT saying that these were bad guns. Rather, others fit me better, so I simply did not use them much.

Thinking with a child's mind, it was nice to own and look at these pistols like so many marbles or baseball cards.

But, thinking analytically, I came to realize that I expended some stored value (money) for them, yet I was not drawing much value (aside from emotional one) from them.

So, I sold them and used the money for other things that were of greater value to me (including other guns).

Now, do I wish that I could still have them? Yes, I do. But, would I give away the things I bought in lieu of them since to keep them? A definite NO. We (no matter how wealthy we are) all have limits on finances one way or another. Therefore, like adults, we have to make choices regarding what we want (can't rely on that childish "I want it all!" routine).

Now I will draw some flak for saying this, but guns are not special objects. They are like so many other things in life like cars, electronic equipment, tools, etc. We all would like to have many of the top-of-the-line items in these. But we all make choices based on finances.

So, unless you are a serious collector intend upon owning as many firearms as you can, I think that you ought to sell the ones you don't use and buy what you will like better (like the Springfield M1A). That's what I did (I sold the Beretta and bought an AK since I had more than enough pistols but only one centerfire rifle).

I hope I didn't sound too patronizing, but that's just my opinion.
