Should I just RETIRE my pore ole Rem 512?

Tube mag appealed to me as a nine year old.

LOTSA boolittz. Not of any use for repeat shots, but you could have lotsa boolitz without having em all over your pocket.

Silly, but for real.

I ...did... use the tube mag and barrel one night to mount a magnetized flashlight for walking back to a reservoir and murdering rabbits.

How MANY rabbits? Well....none....:o

but it did hold the flashlight for one of the first aimpoints :p during the primitive days of yesteryear.
 
Thanks for the update.

Just had my article on the Rem 513(T) published in American Gunsmith mag., hence my interest in the Rem 500 series 22 LRs.
