Shot the Ruger LCR today

Normally, you don't learn to drive with an 18 wheeler.

The KLCR is awesome, but definitely not for a beginner."

Lol very true, I was just fortunate enough to get to shoot a few of my bosses guns :)

If anything, shooting the LCR made me really want to try out different revolvers. Once I have the basics down, I'm sure i'll feel very different about the LCR. It seems to be quite liked (by my boss included).

I'm probably also going to pick up a Mosin revolver for my boss as a farewell gift and might even pick one up for myself if they stay at $99.

I didn't read the rest of the posts from the other members but I saw something you posted that I had to respond on ... The LCR is mainly a carry revolver, not like the gp100.. Anyways being a carry style revolver the grip isn't meant to get "ALL YOUR FINGERS ON" you should learn how to shoot without using your pinky finger as a finger that grasps the grip .. For instance .. In semi autos that are concealable like the LCP or any 380 really .. There isn't a man alive that could grasp the frame with all three fingers but yet they are popular and everyone seems to shoot them just fine .. I guess my point .. You should never depend on always having your whole hand to grasp the pistol because some are just designed to use only the grip of two fingers to shoot .. And so some people like me shoot without grasping 99% of guns with the pinky finger at all (.44 mag and up in power I want a full strong grasp with all my fingers Hahaha ).. Hope that made any sense at all ..
