Shooting bag needs filled?

I live at the ocean. Beach sand is way to fine and cannot be used for septic system drain fields. It compacts way too tight. Some of the suggestions here are very creative and should work fine.
 
My preference is plastic craft beads or air soft BB's. They are light weight compact well and will not mold in high humidity, which can be a problem with organic filler.
