Shooting 2500 yards 1.43 miles!!

Bullest spun way, way too fast often stay on their original spin axis angle and will strike the target with the same launch angle they left the barrel at. This rarely happens with small arms bullets spun at the correct rpm for the muzzle velocity fired at as well as their size, shape and weight. Normally, bullets nose over in flight just like footballs passed by the great gridiron quarterbacks.

Holy crap, great chootin!!!! Well not bad. Im getting 5-6 out of ten at 2500yds with my 10/22. But dont worry youll get there.:D

lol thats some mighty fine shootin their boogieman!! with that kind of drop you dont hold over in mils or moa, u gotta use angle degrees past 45!!!

Grizz,

As I've said before, I'd kill to have your eyes.

What are the chances of you trying that with the Mosin? And is that trigger still working for you or have you gone back to stock?

I don't get to watch YouTube vids as much as I used to because, living in the country now, I use a wireless 3g/4g hotspot. Even rigged with a parabolic antenna that boosts it about 25db, I still only get about -100db and speeds maxing at 1.2mbps. Good for surfing and email but not so much for streaming vids.

I'll watch the Savage at the shop tonight. I'll take the tablet; the internet's faster there and on a DSL line.

Regards,

Josh

Hey Josh! I have since gone back to the stock trigger/bolt configuration, I like the trigger but I have it matched to the bolt knob with the peep sight and want to keep them as a group for another rifle. I have been thinking to try it at a mile just for fun and see if I get a lucky shot in, that would be pretty cool! I have the same internet speeds as you out here in the country, I end up downloading the utube videos and just watch them on my media player, streaming is no good and too choppy. Thanks Josh!
