SF lefties rally for Hezbollah!

Is it just me or am I about as suprised to see a headline of "SF lefties rally for hezbollah" as I would be to read "Alabama righties rally for bush"?

Takes all kinds...or was it 'Takes all kinds we agree with'...oh well, one of those two.

Makes me sick too. To think we live in a world where people can just express themselves as they see fit. Don't they realize that they're making other people sick or uncomfortable? Surely THEY should be more tolerant of our rights to not be disagreed with...GD hippies. Someone put on some foxnews and educate those fools. Show them what they've been missing. Don't they understand the kind of support they're providing to this countries enemies? That to obey the party line/status quo is patriotic? And that thinking unpopular thoughts and fostering absurd views is wrong on more levels than they can comprehend? DON'T THEY? Sheesh...I'm going to bed. What a world we live in...I swear.

Given how Lefty and liberal the SF Bay area is, it is really suprising how many NRA stickers you see. Ranges are always pretty busy, too.

No, that sounds about right.

Hmm. I guess no one can express incredulity that Americans would rally in support of Hezbollah without being subjected to this tripe. Oh well, price of freedom I guess.

I just don't understand why it's simply not taken with a grain of salt, as if they know for sure which side is the RIGHT side in this conflict. We're not there, most of us have never been nor will be. All we know is what comes across the wire, which in all likelyhood seems to be quite biased against reality in general. And while I try not express any more or less concern for one side over the other, I do have a soft spot for those taking the road less traveled. (Sympathizer! Get em!) What can I say, I root for the underdogs. And it kinda just chaps my rear when some people express their 'rightous indignation' at the thought of ANYONE supporting those ignorant barbarians! Makes me sick too.

So I'm not entitled to an opinion of any ME issue to which I was not a witness?

I guess categorically rooting for the underdogs is OK in a sports setting, but it is pretty nonsensical in any other.

You wouldn't catch me at an Israeli rally either, but you don't have to swallow the pill for one side to condemn support for the other.
