Second Amendment Rights

I applaud the Louisiana voters. Perhaps we can get something here in Kentucky. Our Supreme Court has insisted on using a rational basis test to interpret our seemingly sacrosanct state constitutional right to keep and bear arms in defense of self and state (subject to restriction on concealed carry). Most of us here know that means very little.

In order to figure out the real story, we need the court citation that allows us to identify and find what's been published by the court on the case.

We tend to think that news media gets things wrong when writing about guns. Why should we think they get things right when writing about court cases.

BTW, the news article refers to a ruling by a Parish judge. That sounds like a trial court ruling. But rts99 referred to an appellate court ruling. There's a big difference.
