Searching for a new carry

Currently I am in the search for a new carry. My EDC is a S&W 638 snub noes. I love the gun and the simplicity of it but would like to switch to semi auto with more capacity.
Would like it to be a 9mm.
Trying to also find a good double action single action compact 9mm. But I haven't been able to find anything I liked. Reason for SA/DA is to be able to de-cock the gun for a little better chance of unintended trigger pull. Yes I know this shouldn't be an issue but I would like the extra "saftey"
Also have been looking at the glock 26 as an options.

Open to suggestions. Just trying to explore options.

If you like the G26 it is an excellent option. I really like the fact that it can use all GLOCK 9mm magazines up to the 33 round version.

Glock 26 is about the same size as J frame, Not DA/SA, but easy to carry, easy to shoot, and 11 rounds vs. 5...

The Glock 26 is just as safe to carry as a 38 revolver, no need for a de-cock option. You have to pull the trigger to make it go bang. I don't own the 26 but have carried the Glock 19 for years. Get a good IWB holster and you can't go wrong.

You don't give a price range or if you prefer Single or Double stack magazines.

DA/SA:
Beretta PX4 SC
HK P30SK or P2000SK
Sig 225 or 239
Sphinx SDP SC

Striker
FN FNS 9C
S&W M&P9C or Sheild
Steyr S9-A1
Walther PPS or PPS M2

DAO:
Sig 290
Kahr arms

You can't go wrong with a 26 for general carry, When I have to carry very slim (summer wear)....I'll carry the Kahr CT.380.

Holds 8 rounds & it's Glock reliable.

Given your criteria, as others have mentioned the CZ 2075 RAMI seems like a good option. I'm a DA/SA guy myself.

Are used guns in the running?

Also, if you like the idea of DA/SA but also striker-fire with a polymer frame, the Walther P99C AS is just about the only pistol on the market that combines these attributes. :) However, it's marginally larger than the G26, and the aftermarket support doesn't even come close.

Thank you guys for all the responses.
I really have liked the 26 but the reason I have waiting on pulling the trigger and buying is due to wanting a da/sa.

Will definitely have to look into the Rami as well.

Cz Rami = $615is
Glock 26 = $550-600
Walther p99 - couldn't not really find a consistent price.

I apologize but when it comes to buying used (if a good option) what should I be looking for when it comes to these 3. Anything either of these guns are particularly known for when it comes to failures? And everything I can read on the Glock seems to come down to people saying "well it's a Glock so it's a Glock "

Just looking to find something I'll like for a few years before I look for an excuse to buy something else.

The CZ options are good for DA/SA.

But if you are looking at a Glock 26, maybe look at the M&P compact, it holds 12rds and is only a bit bigger overall compared to the 26.

Thanks for making this post. I am in a similar situation and am also looking for DA/SA to match the manual of arms of my SP-01 tactical.

Those of you saying Rami, do you have issues with the magazine rattling? That was my only concern regarding the Rami.

Also, in terms of size how does the P-01 compare to the Rami? A few people told me to just get the P-01 because it's not much larger.
