Lets look at payment to the government
For processing your purchase of a firearm so they can keep in business.
And while at it they then can fine dealers who make a mistake and fail to dot the i and cross the t.
Fines are like taxes the government needs them to keep going. Are they a prudnet way to keep people in line and make sure they are honest?
Is it nothing more then the price illegals have to pay to come to this country to the "coyote" or "ships captain"? The "Bite" the little or big piece, of the pie.
It is the oil that keeps the machinery running. Legal or illegal it is how it has been for thousands of years.
Tribute, taxs, fines, or the "bite", life goes on.

The dime a month or whatever it is for the relay service helps a lot of people who can't hear or speak. Although most people think of it as a service for the Deaf and hard of hearing (if they think of it at all), it's also used by folks who have impaired speech.
For anyone who doesn't know how it works, I can call an operator at the center and they will type my message so the Deaf person I'm calling can read it on their TTP/TDD. If they're calling me, and I'm not near a TDD or computer for e-mail, they type to the operator who reads the message to me.
