This link was forwarded to me this morning and since I haven't seen a thread on this subject I thought I'd post it.

It's a photo of someone shooting a Tec-9. This person, if not Charles Schumer is an amazing look alike. Keepandbeararms.com is seeking information on the photo to prove or disprove it's althenticity.

What do you think? If it is Schumer, why would such an anti-gun politician be shooting one of the weapons of choice for the gang bangers? And better yet, why does he have a s#!% eating grin on his face while doing so?

I suppose someone could have found someone who looked like Schumer or even did some PhotoShop work, but...

that guy looks way too much like Chuckie.

I loaded it up in Photoshop and took a hard look. It's definitly Schumer. No doubt about that. It's a bit fishy looking around the hearing protectors and the hands don't look quite right. There is some fringe around the pixels and they are in abit too straight line for me to take the picture as anything other than nice work but still probably a fake. Show me the rest of the shots on the roll of film and then I'll believe.
 
Looks like a Photoshop job to me. The light sourcing on Schumer's shoulders doesn't quite match the light on the Tec-9. His hands also look like they've been edited.

A good fake, but still a fake.

Yes it is. Only I beleive it was Congressman Schumer at the time.

This was strictly a Photo-Op taken for the evening news to forward one of his many anti-gun crusades. I am not sure which one anymore.

It also may have been used in one of his campaign commercials "to illustrate his intimate knowledge of these dangerous assault weapons".


I assure you he is no gun enthusiest.

I vaguely recall seeing this a long time ago, and that it was indeed legit. Something about him wanting hands-on experience with such eeeeeeeeeeeevil devices so he could claim that he knew what he was talking about.
 
I would be tempted to say that it's a real image.
Although I can't say for sure as the image has been compressed too much to really do anything with it.
My thought is that it was probably some sort of photo-op.
 
He's fantasizing about shooting gun owners through the fence of a federal concentration camp...Nothing could make Chuckie grin more than that!
 
Years ago when the brady bill was taking off the nazi schumer did shoot an uzi at an indoor range. This was televised on national news. After the nazi shot the uzi he did what most nazis do , he turned around and said you don't need an uzi for hunting.
