Savage Model 25 Walking Varmiter in 17 Hornet not Ejecting

Brand new model 25 that extracts the brass from the bore but does not eject it from the chamber. The brass just ends up on top of the next round.

Contacted Savage, no response yet.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Has anyone seen instructions or video on how to replace a model 25 extractor?
