Marcus, I have fired or have owned CZ83, mak (9x18), beretta 84F, 85F, and colt govt .380 - and like them all BTW!! (and considered closely buying sig 230/232. PPK/s, micro-max, kahr, kel-tec, etc, etc) My wife is also in the same situation as yours, petite and small hands and fingers with not a lot of strength. The bottom line? she got the colt govt .380 for fit, finger reach, controllability, and it is accurate as hell (3 inch groups at 15 yds easily). Heck, I enjoyed shooting it too! But your wife has to handle them all, and make the choice (it's critical it be "her" gun, one she likes, is comfortable with, and enjoys shooting etc.) I found the almost new govt.380 on gunsamerica for $375 (yep, close to a steal!)

Got to the shop late this over the weekend and they were closed,doh. We`re going again tomorrow night. Good point about making it HER gun and giving HER the choice. I told her I`ll clean it for her etc. but whatever she gets I`m never gonna shoot it unless she`s with me and wants me to for some reason. I even suggested some feminine looking grips,maybe with her initials to make it *really hers*. She liked that idea.
