Not sure anyone is interested but I got an answer back from S&W about my complaint.
Personal call from manager of their customer support. Nice guy, apologized and is sending me a new box and an S&W hat.
When I asked him why so little information on a test to see if a gun was safe or not in his words its complicated engineering test that proof the gun.
Didn’t have the guts to tell him that I already got rid of it.
