S&W N Frame - Gripping Questions

But...it IS a fact that the "older" Smiths are of almost legendary quality. The new ownership is fighting to regain that status.
Agree with the first sentence. Not with the second.

If they put less effort into "Marketing" hype and more into QC then they wouldn't have to fight.

"The new ownership is fighting to regain that status."

And at this point, from the new guns that I have seen that have been made SINCE the company changed hands, they're doing a piss poor job of it.

Of course, my assessment simply can't be trusted because of my bias against Smith & Wesson, the bias that has led me to purchase 3 S&Ws this year alone...

"But...it IS a fact that the "older" Smiths are of almost legendary quality."

Now isn't that quaint. I've stated numerous times, both here and on the old Compuserve Firearms Forum, that S&Ws quality control has been slipping since the mid-1990s, and have recommended that people purcuase the OLDER guns if they want an S&W.

I was doing that BEFORE the agreement was signed, and you said it was simply nothing more than my political bias against the company, NOT issues of quality control.

Now you come out directly and agree with my statement regarding the quality of the older guns.

Isn't that interesting...

You are starting to sound pretty ridiculous.

Your bias is against any so called "agreement guns".
Never said different.

Old Smiths are of exceptional quality. Never said different.

You are incapable of being objective when talking about these guns. You slam them and pile on when someone else does.

Get over it. You are biased against the NEW guns.

I will continue to point out that fact.

You see, since you have taken up the Holy Crusdade against "post agreement" guns, I have taken up a crusade to give an opposing opinion.

Smith and Wesson will continue to get better with time, in spite of your pitiful efforts to bury them. It is too late for your cause.

Your "sky is falling" crap about the gubmint taking away our guns is pure B.S.

You may know older Smiths, but beyond that...you don't know JACK!

Go ahead and reply, then let's let this die off in this thread.
