In a 4 inch like you have, I would sell the 66, but if the question was about these revolvers with 3 inch barrels or shorter, I'd sell the 686. YMMV.

My whole outlook on gun collecting has changed. I sold my 686 4" since the few times a year I did shoot it, it was 95% .38's with a cylinder or two of .357 for giggles. So now I have a model 13 that lets me do that, and it feels so much nicer, too. I used to own 2 66's, a 19, a 65, a GP100, and even a snub 686. My 686 was sold for a nice profit and I used the money to do some home improvement projects. I used to own 2 AR's, a Mini 14, an AK, and an SKS. Now I'm down to three long guns. One AR, One shotgun, and a Ruger 10/22. My handguns are the 13, a Ruger Service 6 (just to have one gun for real full power .357), a carry 9MM (S&W 3913), a Beretta M9 (home defense gun), and a .22 pistol for low cost range fun and as a future trainer for my young son. No desire to get anymore. I DO plan to get a 1911 one day, just cause I think every gun owner needs a 1911.
