I do believe that the manual safety will also prevent an officer's gun from being used against him. Far fetched scenarios and statistics based on anecdotal evidence will not convince me that a magazine safety has any utility. Safeties of use are grip safeties, manual safeties, trigger safeties, and decocking levers. The magazine disconnect is completely unnecessary.
