My 2 bits.....
For my $ & peace of mind, Id buy her(or get if it were any other revolver owner), a 5 round Tuff Products Quik Strip or for a 6 shot revolver, the popular 6 round Speed Strip.
I like the safety orange Quik Strip design. She could pop 2 of those strips into a Altoids tin & be ready to go.
Speedloaders require training & can take some practice. Rounds can also pop out
or the speedloader can fumble.
Author, match shooter/trainer and legal use of force expert: Massad Ayoob showed a few of these reloading problems in a online training video.
You need to understand with a snub or J frame type wheel gun, the cases are going to be
hot. Expanded cases may also stick or be caught in the revolver cylinder
.
A high stress lethal force event or a gun fight isn't the time to play around with a J frame.
I'm left handed & bought a few Safariland Comp II type 6 round speedloaders for my Ruger GPNY. They are fast & work like described but they also slid out by mistake.
I got a few Bianchi Speed Strips & had no problems. 18 rounds of .38spl served me well.
