S&W 12-2 Cracked Frame

I hope my new to me model 12 is ok, I looked for any cracks near the frame/forcing cone area. I cant wait to pick it up from law-a-way.

How about using a cracked-frame alloy S&W as a dedicated “snake gun,” loading it only with low pressure shot loads? Either factory shot loads or reloads? Would you consider that a safe practice?
