He has lost most crediblity now. Look, most of these guys say what the focus groups suggest would be best for their market slice.
 
Talk shows:rolleyes: We believe what they say because of what? personality or because they say the "truth as we see it". You know all the powerful have their spokes people and they are there to tell the faithfull to keep them in power. Hitler had his too.

It gets me what power people like Oprah and other TV types have. I can't believe that people would take what these people have to say as truth at all.They just run a TV show and that is all yet people will spend their money and buy politicians a ride to power over what a talk show says.

Politics is interesting but people should look at the end results of what our politicians do with their laws. Democrats want to steal our guns and Republicans want us to work for nothing. Each has an agenda to destroy the power base of the other.

Democrats go after the money given to repubs like Big Tabacco. The less money for the Repubs the fewer in power.

Repubs go after the demos money, the unions ect. Just drive out the Unions and no more money for the demos.

Problem is it hurts people when both these sides go after those who spend their money in what they believe. To do this will drive a wedge and harden people to the point that the country will polarize and divide into violence. This isn't what we need in this country.

Boortz is the only one I really like.

Rush is ok, but, I can really only take him in small doses.

Savage is ok when he's on his meds:)

I was in my 30s before there were conservatives on radio or tv. Why were you complaining about talk shows when they all were Liberal. I was already a conservative long before Rush or Hannity. I was a Reagan Democrat who finally wised up and dropped your party completely. So don't blame talk radio rather you have only yourselves to blame. Your party embraced Political Correctness and lost me as a voter.

When I see a Liberal use Hitler's name I laugh. This is a sure sign that your ideas are completely outdated.

I am afraid you have confused what I have posted with me being a liberal. I am not nor will I ever be. What I ment by my post is that all parties have their spokes people and all tell the faithfull what they want to hear. Both sides have their Kool aid groups in them.

Not a good paraellel. Too broad and overused. No matter how much you speak to the faithful and the fanaticl they still only get to vote once here in the USA. This is somethings Dems haven't learned. Even powerful voting blocks like New York and California can't ramrod fanatical ideology onto the middle of the country because the electoral college helps stop regional powerholds from intrenching themselves in permenant control.
 
Zen-Why in the world would you think Howard Stern would be more to my liking? I don't know much about him but from what I've heard & read I'm sure I have no use for him. That was a cheap shot.

It is probably the best known paralell as The Kraut reached infamous proportion in his promotion of that evil jerk Hitler. He had all the same in numbers of audience that Rush has today. All they had back then was radio.

Yes we do all have one vote and true there haven't been enough people convinced that the Repubs are corrupt and need to be thrown out because who is the replacement? No one wants them damn socialist in there.

Rush and the bunch just keep talking to soothe the republican masses or keep them turned out to fight democrats. It is too bad because as one hand leads you the other picks your pocket and I think some of the republican crap like sending jobs over seas should quit.

They won't do anything about the border either or stop the illegals from being hired as they send the jobs over seas. People better get their head away from the radio and on to the phone to the Repubs and start bitching.
