My Taurus 731UL locks up like a bank vault and was paid a high compliment by a local *&* collector recently. I invited him to try the trigger, and he paid our gunsmith a compliment on the trigger job. He was very surprised when we told him that the gun had just been delivered and hadn't had a trigger job... :)

The Rossi snubs are exact copies of the J frame Smiths. I own both and I took both of their side plates off and they appear to be the same inside. I also took a Taurus apart and it is different than the Rossi and Smith & Wesson.

You made the best choice when you chose the Ruger, you won't be sorry, the gun will last you a life time. I have seen and heard of to many problems with the Taurus line.
