Ruger MKII or Browning Buckmark?

I have both. I like them both. If I were to get one, I would go with the Ruger in Stainless. Model 512.

I have a 22/45 that I traded my MKII for,put a hogue grip on it and love it.Just used open sights for a while, but had to have a red dot.It makes it a little top heavy but not unnatural in the hand to shoot. It is more accurate than I am free hand & w/a rest right on par w/my 10/22.It is a little hard at first to strip and clean but follow the directions in the owners manual, then do it again, and again, and you'll get the hand of it.
Not too crazy about the poly.but that's just less too rust and clean.

Sorry, don't know about the buckmark but that might be a good excuse to add to the collection.....Yeah you'd better get both.

I have both (Buckmark Standard & Ruger Mk. 2 Competition Stainless).
Pick the one that YOU like. Both are quality guns.

I couldn't shoot the Buckmark before hand because there is only one range in town that rents handguns and they only had one Ruger MkII. I settled on the Ruger and picked it when I went to send a few rounds down range a few days ago. 5.5" SS bull bbl. Got a good deal after the rebate and the free range time he threw in that I was going to have to pay for otherwise. Haven't shot it yet, that's the plan for tomorrow. Thanks for the input guys!
