Ruger MKII magazines problems...

I had the same problem with mine. Hollow point ammo simply wouldnt shoot in my brand new mkII. I could shoot anything but soft lead or hollowpoints in it. The angle in which the feed ramp is sloped really jams the round up into the chamber. When you try to shoot lead or hollowpoint ammo in this gun it smashes the lead flat and wont feed. I thought this was common with all ruger 22's. I just changed ammo. problem solved.

Why dont you get rid of that nickel plated sissy pistol and get yourself a glock. :::Tommy Lee Jones:::

Like most people have said its probably because the tip of the bullet is pointing downwards so it doesnt feed right. I myself have had this annoying problem a few times. I think it might be caused by the rim of the top bullet being pushed up by the bullet below it causing it to point domwards. I use my fingernail to just lift the bullet and point it up wards.
