Ruger MK II SS Target

Got stuck yesterday with the wife going to Scrapbook and Craft stores all morning. We were in the area of my favorite LGS, she said stop by and she would wait in the car. No problem.

They had a Ruger MK II SS target used in the case. Took look at it, it was in great shape, with the box, extra magazine and manual. I have tried MKIII and just don't like them, so I ask how much, $250 out the door. Needless to say it came home. Looking forward to Wednesday to put a few rounds thru it.

I have tried other .22 autos and always comeback to the MKII.

What an awful thing to get stuck with !! A beautiful Mark II in SS. The Mark II is the best design of the series. Enjoy !!!
 
That's a smoking deal. I'd expect that one would be marked $400 in most of the shops in my area.

I've got a 1983 Mark II bull barrel that I bought new, and I'll never sell it. They are great shooters.
 
I paid $240 OTD for mine and it still had that pink dot on it. It was either un-fired or very few rounds. I was lucky indeed. Would buy another one but have never found such a deal again.
 
Very nice I like the stainless. I have a 22/45 target model that I bought at Gander Mountain in Tonawanda NY for 149.00 in brand new condition with 3 magazines. A guy bought it for his wife and she didn't like it so he traded it back in on another 22 she liked. They only had it a month. I seen it and bought it right on the spot then went to get it on my permit and when I went back to pick it up another guy waited on me and said the price was a mistake it should have been 249.00. Whoever put it in the case priced it wrong. There was no hard feelings and he didn't even try to get the extra 100.00 out of me.
