I carry 100 percent of the time when im off duty and the lcr is perfect. I use a desanti pocket holster and couldn't be happier. As far as the range report it does have some kick but isnt horrible and i love the trigger. It is also very accurate. Buy it!!!!!

I got the 22lr version, do not care for it in 38/357 because there is trigger reset/slack, I have had it not reset and missed a chamber once or twice.
The 22lr does serve exellent trainning purpose for me on the DAO revolvers. Felt a 22mag at the gun shop, the trigger must be 3-5lbs more. Factory settings for 22lr is about 7.5lbs? mine came in about 7.5/8 very smooth!!!

Strongly recommend getting the .357 over the .38--as easy to carry, MUCH nicer to shoot. Have heard the .22lr trigger pull is very heavy, but no personal knowledge, would want to make sure of that before getting one. They are advertising a .22 WMR version now also.

Had a LCR 22, lots of problems. Factory said they would exchange for a new one, I requested a 38 version instead. Much better trigger feel, good to go so far.

Haven't ordered one for my new LCR yet, but plan to. I am very happy with the one I got for my KAHR CM9. Excellent quality, at a lower price than the most popular make. Also, much quicker delivery time. At least it was a few months ago when I ordered the holster for my CM9.

Love the Ruger LCR 38 +p

Love - Love this gun but cannot find ammo. I handled 1/2 dozen or more and this was the most comfortable by a long shot. I am new at all this and want to practice, but hard to do without ammo - any suggestions ?

What about the grip?

Does anyone know if the SP-101 Rubber Monogrip will fit on an LCR? If not, are there any 3-finger grip alternatives available?

LCR 22 was the worst revolver i have ever purchased!!!! Getting rid of it. Accuracy was horrible and brass continuously was stuck under the extractor (star)..

Got an LCR in 38spl and I love it. I handled a s&W J frame which was basically the same price and chose the LCR. Accurate enough with a good smooth trigger. It also is easy to conceal with my Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. But it!

I like mine (.357)

My LCR is a .357 magnum, it only holds 5 rounds; what it lacks in capacity it makes up for in potency.

I practice often with full power target loads, recoil is significant, but with practice I learned to be quite proficient with it.

Ruger .357magnum....

I like the LCR .357magnum format with the XS front sight.

I remember LCRs going for $399.99 to $450.00 USD pre-Sandy Hook/2013 gun panic.

I saw a new in box(unfired) Ruger LCR .38spl +P with a XS sight for only $430.00 on GunsAmerica.com. It was sold in a matter of hours! ;)

The new front style Lasermax red laser dot is a good add-on; www.Lasermax.com .

Check out the "Holsters by Braids" store on Ebay, he makes a very nice molded leather IWB for a very nice price. I bought one and used it daily for the few weeks I owned my LCR.

As others have said, skip the .38 version and buy the .357 instead.

Recently bought the LCR in .22LR. Takes some time and numerous rounds to get used to the trigger pull but is quite accurate when I take my time. Added a LaserMax laser to it and now is extremly accurate at distances up to 20-25 yards. Total investment under $500 and never concerned as to being undergunned when laser allows CNS if necessary.
