There’s a reason some manufacturers don’t recommend +p type loads, especially for the LCP.

That's because there is no SAAMI spec for .380acp+P. Any company can churn out .380acp and call it "+P".

And the reason SAAMI won't issue specs for .380+P? Same reasons why they won't do it for .25acp+P and .32acp+P..........too many handguns out there that are century old designs that could not safely handle such ammunition.
