Ruger BalckHawk?

Really it is what you like best. I now prefer blue but there was a time that nickle or stainless were my preference. I like to think that I am older and wiser, but probably it is just older. :D

Everyone wants blued because it's traditional. I am guessing that if stainless was available in the 1870's most of the 'traditional' guns would have been stainless.
After thirty years living on the beach in Florida I say, “Buy stainless and wear sun glasses!”

So far as I know the adjustable sighted blackhawk in 45/45acp has never been offered in SS. I could be wrong and I have been before but I think its a moot point.

As for blued vs stainless it makes me no difference. If I get a deal then I will buy it. Besides I like the nice wear and patina a blued gun gets with use.

And if you want one then buy it now. I wasted a lot of time looking for a "deal" on a marlin 357 magnum rifle. I never found a deal because very few people buy these and then sell them. They like them and keep them. I finally broke down and bought a NIB rifle. Its my favorite gun and I hate I waited so long to get one.

Thanks for the link Jim. I hadn't seen those before. Since I have about all the guns I can feed now I don't do a lot of window shopping. Those are good looking convertables. I really like the fact that you can get them with the flat top frame also.
