Ruger American with Boyd's Stock

Here's what I got at the range today. I pulled two shots badly but the other four are a good group. this is with 140 grain Nosler Custom Competition .308 hand loads. The stock made a difference.

Bedding it is easy. Use appropriate epoxy to epoxy in the V. blocks. I use marine grade J.B. Weld. The instructions on how do do it were in the box with my Boyds stock. I did not exactly follow the instructions, but I put a piece of painters tape on the bottom of the barrel at the fore end of the barrel channel. I put a piece of painters tape at the rear of the action (at the safey). I put the epoxy under and around the v blocks and very lightly snugged up the action screws. 24 hours later I took it apart, removed the tape, and torqued it down.
